Internship Opportunties
Internship opportunities allow students to gain experience, build skills, understand the workplace, and improve their chances of getting a job.
Depending on the program enrolled, there are different opportunities that are provided.
For example:
- In the Global Hospitality Management program, students are provided either Overseas or Local internship opportunities under Wyndham Hotel & Resorts with benefits
- Accounting programs have extensive MOUs with accounting firms, with many students doing their internship and later working with the Big 4 accounting firms after graduation
UOB Cyber Branch
UOB Cyber Branch on campus provides investment training and simulations to students for teaching and learning activities. Students can use the Center as learning resources, co-working space, and library in order to enhance their finance and investment knowledge.
Lab Facilities
MSME manages computers labs from the 4th to the 5th floor at the SCIT Building at Suvarnabhumi Campus for teaching and learning purposes. The lab facilities are provided to support students’ learning, research, and practical work with computers and technology that are required across multiple programs.
To support teaching and learning services, the school runs its own Learning Management Software at https://lms.msme.au.edu (with support from ITS) in which all MSME students have access to. The platform is used to host, deliver, manage, and track courses offered in our programs. This helps helps streamline the learning process by keeping all training and educational activities organized in one digital environment. In additional to the LMS, MS Teams wide access allows easy communication between students and lecturers in the program.
DDI Facilities
The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Design & Digital Innovation program focuses on providing students with facilities that facilitate learning, idea exchange, and experience sharing, while inspiring them to become entrepreneurs. Therefore, the program’s facilities are specially designed, such as Smart Classrooms, Digital True Labs, Common Rooms, Auditoriums, and Lecture Rooms.
Club & Activities
There is an array of student clubs and associations on campus, that offer extracurricular activities in a variety of focuses, such as arts, community services, governance, hobbies, and sports.
- Arts and Culture: Thai Dance, Thai Music, Thai Culture (Rangsanthai), Chorus, Music, Dance, Christian, Catholic, Meditation (DMED), Arts Performance and Personality (AP)
- Sports: Flag Football, Soccer, Karate-Do, Shooting, Taekwondo

- International Students: AU Indian Club, AU Korean Club
As Assumption University houses students from more than 90 countries, these clubs and activities give students opportunities outside the classroom to establish new friendships, acquire new skills and help learn about themselves, in addition to being fun.
Education Provider
Finance and Risk Management Program, MSME Business School, Assumption University, is affiliated with CFA Institute, a world premier association for investment management professionals, under CFA Institute University Affiliation Program since 2018. Finance major prepares the students for achieving professional certifications in finance such as CFA, FRM, and CFP®.
The Department of Finance, MSME Business School, Assumption University, has been certified as an education provider, the only university being the education provider in Thailand, by Thai Financial Planners Association (TFPA) on January 13, 2022. Completion of AU’s finance program fulfills the educational component, one of the four requirements of the CFP® Certification Education Program.
Subject 3.1-3.6 of finance curriculum have been endorsed by Thai Financial Planners Association (TFPA) to be equivalent to the Module 1-6 of CFP® Certification Education Program. The students who complete such curriculum and wish to pursue as a CFP professional are exempted from education requirement and eligible for CFP certification examination enrollment.
