MSME Business School is Certified as an Education Provider

On January 13, 2022, the Department of Finance, MSME Business School, Assumption University has been certified as the education provider by the Thai Financial Planners Association (TFPA). The certification allows the School to provide Certified Financial Planner (CFP) training courses to the public.

There are currently 5 certified academic service providers in Thailand, with Assumption University being the only university in the country.

Besides, the Department of Finance’s curriculum, the TFPA-certified curriculum, is equivalent to the 6-module CFP training program required for individuals who wish to pursue a career in the financial planning.

Module 2: INVESTMENT PLANNING (การวางแผนการลงทุน)

Module 3: INSURANCE PLANNING (การวางแผนประกันภัย)

Module 4: RETIREMENT PLANNING (การวางแผนเพื่อวัยเกษียณ)

Module 5: TAX AND ESTATE PLANNING (การวางแผนภาษีและมรดก)

Module 6: FINANCIAL PLAN CONSTRUCTION (การจัดทำแผนการเงิน)

Therefore, MSME students would possess the advantage of being eligible to waive the CFP training program as they would be equipped with the required knowledge upon their graduation.
