An Enriching Campus Visit for 30 Myanmar Students
On August 10, 2024, Assumption University of Thailand proudly hosted 30 Myanmar students for a special campus visit at its Suvarnabhumi Campus. This significant event, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Bangkok, highlighted the university’s commitment to international education and cross-cultural engagement. The visit allowed the students to immerse themselves in the vibrant educational environment that Assumption University is known for.
A Warm Welcome to 30 Myanmar Students
During their visit, the Myanmar students were warmly greeted by Rector Magnificus, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, f.s.g., Ph.D., who welcomed them on behalf of the university. The students also had the opportunity to interact with Asst. Prof. Dr. Narong Aphiratsakun, Dean of the Vincent Mary School of Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhanoos Sutthiphisal, Dean of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics. These discussions provided valuable insights into the diverse and innovative academic programs available at Assumption University, reaffirming its status as a leading institution in the region.
As part of their visit, the students were taken on a comprehensive tour of the Suvarnabhumi Campus, guided by Mr. Glen Chatelier, Director of the Office of International Affairs. The tour highlighted the state-of-the-art facilities, modern classrooms, and the beautiful, serene environment that make the campus a conducive place for learning and personal development.
