Yuwaphat Rak Tin Project Successfully Concludes!
In collaboration with the Government Savings Bank (GSB), the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Vice President for Academic
Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhanoos Sutthiphisal, Dean of MSME Business School, formed a working committee to coordinate the Yuwaphat Rak Tin Project 2024. The project aimed to promote economic sustainability and well-being for local communities and social enterprises in the Lat Krabang and Prawet districts of Bangkok. Running from February to September 2024, the initiative consisted of five teams, each focusing on different products and services:

Econut – From the Chan Krung Nawat Vithe Community
Enterprise (วิสาหกิจชุมชนชานกรุงนวัตวิถี)

MysticMon – From the Liap Khlong Mon Community Enterprise
(ชุมชนเลียบคลองมอญ)

Handiwork Jewelry – From F-Design

Mushroom Madjai – From the Krathum Chaeng Phatthana
Community (ชุมชนกระทุ่มแจ้พัฒนา)

Local Pulse – From SMCE Baan Koh Klan, Khet Prawet
(วิสาหกิจชุมชนบ้านเกาะกลาง เขตประเวศ)

The teams collaborated with local business owners to introduce innovative solutions using modern technology and social networks to enhance distribution channels and productivity.
The project’s closing ceremony took place on September 13,
2024, at the Cathedral of Learning building. Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul warmly welcomed GSB representatives, project
participants, local business owners, the working committee, chairpersons, lecturers, and students.
The event featured a product showcase from each team,
highlighting the project’s contributions and its positive impact on the local economy. Each participating team presented their achievements, with the Awards Ceremony serving as the highlight of the event. The Best Team Award was presented to LocalPulse, with Econut as the first runner-up and MysticMon as the second runner-up. Local Pulse, the winning team, will advance to the national finals in November 2024 to compete for the prestigious Best of the Best Award.
