MSME students have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in their performance at numerous business competitions. These accomplishments showcase the quality of teaching we provides through our flexible and well-organized curriculum and highlight the close collaborations between students and faculty members.


MSME students participated in DTN Business Plan Competition organized by Department of Trade and Negotiations, Ministry of Commerce. The Eco-liter team (Ms. Siripat Jamutai, Ms. Kantaporn Lertkovit, Ms. Kamolwan Apisitphon and Mr.Thitiwut Kiatvisansri) won the Second Prize, receiving 50,000 Baht cash award.

Eco-liter stands for Eco-friendly highlighter with the aim of decreasing waste and reducing the effect of global warming. Eco-liter is considered as non-toxic highlighter because its ink is made from natural raw materials and penholder is made from bio-plastic.

The team was supervised by Dr. Chanita Jiratchot of the ABLE-UBI Center and Dr. Akechai Judkrue of the Management Department and Dr. Maneerat Kor-Udom of the Insurance Department.

Ms. Suchaya Siamwalla of the PhD in Business Administration program won the First Prize for Best Graduate Student's Dissertation on stock market. The award was given by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 2016. Graduate students from 10 institutions in Thailand including Chulalongkorn Business School, SASIN, Thammasat Business School, Thammasat Faculty of Economics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) participated in this competition. She was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nopphon Tangjitprom of the Finance and Banking Department. 

Bond Academy is organized by The Thai Bond Market Association (ThaiBMA) offering to students at both undergraduate and graduate level, where the Program also offered a 3-day intensive training for the finalists.

MSME student majoring in Finance and Banking, Ms. Antika Katewattanakul, was awarded “The Second Runner Up” prize from about 100 finalists. 

Krungsri UnivStartup is organized by Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, which search for the winning teams who can develop FinTech application.

MSME student majoring in Finance and Banking, Ms. Pantitra Pilunowad, awarded the “First Runner Up” from the 10 finalist team, from over 100 teams in Thailand, from the “Carrance” application. This “Carrance” application, with a smart recommendation algorithm, is for ones searching to buy car insurance products, where the application offers price comparison and analyzes the best-fit insurance for a specific demographic, usage pattern, etc., supporting with the management platform that helps the customers conveniently and easily manage and claim their insurance policies through mobile application or website.

MSME students participated in an innovative business plan competition organized by the Government Savings Bank (GSB) of Thailand. There were 1,100 teams of university students in Thailand joining this business plan competition. Eighteen teams from MSME passed through the semifinal round, each receiving 5,000 baht cash award.

In the final round of competition, MSME's “Kaeng Thai Dip” team (Mr. Nivit Madarasmi, Ms. Jirawan Rosacker, Mr. Thosapol Wongapisumpo and Ms. Aradee Yodkitudomying) gave an excellence performance in  presentation and answering questions from all honorable judges. “Kaeng Thai Dip” won the First Prize, receiving a cash prize of THB 1 million. The students were supervised by Dr. Chanita Jiratchot, Director of ABLE-UBI and Dr. Akechai Judkrue from the Management Department.   

Kaeng Thai Dip is a brand that provides Thai curry in a different way from the past. A new innovative style that is easy to find and easy to eat is introduced. Kaeng Thai Dip contains the original taste of Thai curry which is an identity of Thailand. It comes in three different original Thai curry flavors: Tom Yum Goong, Massaman, and Green Curry. Kaeng Thai Dip is produced in the form of sauce that customers can eat with anything such as rich, sticky rice, vegetables and potatoes chips. Distribution channels of Kaeng Thai Dip are supermarkets, convenient stores, online shops, and Air Port Duty Free Shop.
