This expertise is needed not only in the private sector, but also to support the government initiatives in the insurance business.  The development of education to support expertise in insurance can thus be seen as an important initiative in helping to achieve the objectives of providing knowledge and capacity to support the expansion of the economy and improve the quality of life in Thailand. The Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Insurance is designed to meet the needs of the business community along with the economic and social development of the nation.

This insurance curriculum covers both life and nonlife insurance so that the students have the chance to learn the business operation of both industries. Insurance theories and principles are taught in order to provide the solid knowledge and insurance background to the students. Students also learn the real practices from the professional in the industry which the department always invites to share their experiences in insurance so that the students have a chance to exchange ideas and thought. To strengthen our position, we have collaboration with certain institute such as Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance in which our students can get their professional certificate in order to be recognized as insurance profession in the international market.

STUDY PLANS

First and Second Years (Freshmen and Sophomore)
During the freshmen year, all students in Martin de Tours School of Management pursue the same study plan consisting of general education courses and business core courses, which provide them with the basic knowledge on all the disciplines in business.  The study plan also prepares the students with adequate knowledge to select a concentration that suits his/her ability, background, and preferences.
Third and Fourth Years (Junior and Senior)
During the junior and senior years, students who select the Marketing Major follow the Marketing program of studies:
1. Ten Major Required Courses
2. Five Concentration Courses
Plan A: Major Concentration Courses
Or Plan B: Business Concentration Courses
Or Plan C: Major Elective Courses
